Boost partners with community members, companies — big and small — and other non-profit organizations to provide a boost to existing programs or provide inspiration for the creation of new programs such as Freshman Boost at Self Enhancement Inc. (SEI).
If your youth-focused, non-profit organization could use a little something extra, let us know!
Self Enhancement, Inc. is one of the nation's most comprehensive and successful youth development organizations. Ninety percent of our students overcome significant barriers to success (poverty, family substance abuse, gang involvement, absent parents, low academic achievement, etc.) to become positive, contributing citizens.
From the begining, Boost has had a parntership with Self Enhancment Inc. (SEI). SEI is the primary beneficiary of our signature event, Catwalk.
Working in cooperation with SEI, we have developed Freshman Boost, a program designed to inspire incoming high school freshmen to stay in school. Initial funding for the SEI program was provided by Boost Foundation.
Friends of the Children provides our community’s most vulnerable children with full-time, paid, professionally trained mentors (called Friends) to ensure that each child has a positive, consistent and supportive adult in his or her life. We begin working with children in Kindergarten and continue to support them for 12 1/2 years, through high school graduation.
This past summer, Friends of the Chidren partnered with Boost and became the beneficiary of our newest annual event, Kids Putt for Kids.
